Contracts Specialist - Antwerp
Wat houdt deze functie in?
Are you experienced with contracting law and legal aspects related to the oil, gas and/or (petro)chemical industry? Does contract management and it’s administration hold no secrets for you? Then you’re the addition to our team and the person we’re looking for the position of Contracts Specialist!
– You’ll support the Contracts Manager in the pre- and post-award contract management activities.
– You’ll be responsible for the post-award tracking of contractual requirements for timely submission of deliverables and notices.
– You’ll perform an analysis of requests for potential changes or claim.
– You’ll prepare summaries and assist in the development of strategies and recommendations with attention to financial and business risks.
– You’ll participate in project delivery team meetings.
– You’ll be in charge for the preparation of the terms, conditions, and assumptions upon which changes or claims are to be evaluated.
– You’ll review the technical and commercial content of changes and claims for accuracy and consistency.
– You’ll assist in the identification of opportunities for synergies, leveraging scale and improving efficiency.

Wie zoeken we?
– Do you have a bachelor or master degree in science, business and/or economics or equivalent by experience?
– Are you a seasoned and experienced contract engineer / administrator with significant experience in Oil and Gas or (petro)chemical industry?
– Can you confirm to hold in-depth knowledge and expertise in contract management and contract administration, as well as good technical knowledge of (engineered) equipment, materials, (construction) services and preferably civil works on major construction projects?
– Are you experienced with contracting law and legal aspects in a relevant market?
– Are you fluent in English, both verbal and written?
– Are you a skilled negotiator with experience in relationship building?
– Are you a strong team player who is both analytical as innovative?
